It was a Thursday, usually my brainstorming day for a Sundays canvas. On this day I wanted to take a nap, so I did. It didn't last long. I had an idea stemming from a friend that said I should try painting with my hands. But it wasn't my hands I was interested in. It was my boobs. Jammers, Knockers, Tits, Breasts, Chest and Jugs. One of my greatest assets. Why should I be ashamed to say that? Its not only a great asset but its a FREAKEN life force of humans. Breasts come in different shapes, sizes, colors, textures, widths, lengths and nipple circumference. You name it. My left is noticeably bigger then my right, but that doesn't mean Im gonna replace them with fake ones.
The point really isn't about the boob at all. Its about confidence. To say they might not be perfect but to me they are. They are a part of me, like everything else. When you except, like really fall in love with it, the world kinda changes. Its a celebration of the fact that beauty comes from within and not from the TV. Or norms of what is considered "beautiful."
Its defining for myself what cards I was given, what cards you may have. Its a celebration of difference. Lets face it, we aren't one size fits all. Thats the beauty of it.
Here are my boobs, well here are my first 3 paintings. Me, my dear friend Tianna and my dear friend Shilpa.
I hope you enjoy and find beauty from within.
